2/1~ Report Cards are distributed.
2/5~ PTA Meeting at Grange, at 6 p.m.
2/5-2/9~ PTA Book Fair during Library classes.
2/7~ Baltimore Blast Soccer Team vs. Grange Staff at Grange, at 6 p.m.
2/7~ PTA Book Fair at Grange's Library, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
2/12~ PTA Chick-Fil-A Night beginning at 5 p.m.
2/12-2/16~ Jump Rope for Heart during Gym classes.
2/14~ Girls on the Run Club resumes.
2/19~ President's Day.  Schools and offices are closed.

January Events:

12/23-01/01~ Schools and offices are Closed for Winter Break.
1/02/2018~ School Reopens!
1/11~ BCPS Day!  Wear blue to school.
1/15~ Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, schools and offices are closed.
1/19~ 2nd Marking Period Ends. Schools close 3 hours early with dismissal at 12:30 p.m.
1/23~ Winter Wonderland at Grange, 5:30-7 p.m.
1/26~ 5th Grade Ballroom Dancing Observation, 9:10-10 a.m.
1/29~ PTA Night at Texas Roadhouse, 5 p.m.

Our school is composed of a group of talented and dedicated teachers and staff who go above and beyond every day to ensure that the students who attend our school leave ready to lead.  Along with the Grange faculty, the PTA is dedicated to both children and the community that surrounds Grange.  Programs such as our winter and spring musicals, field day and STEM night are just a few of the many events that help bring the students, parents, staff and community together for one great cause - student achievement!!

Built in 1960, Grange Elementary School is located in the Southeastern corner of Baltimore County, the county which surrounds the metropolitan city of Baltimore, Maryland. We are supported by our active PTA and incredible volunteers!

Grange Elementary School will create a culture of deliberate excellence, a culture of equity and of collaboration with all stakeholders in order for all students to achieve their full potential and become globally competitive citizens.


GES Mission


Grange Elementary School creates a safe, healthy and nurturing atmosphere which fosters collaborative partnerships among students, teachers, families and community members.  Our students participate in rigorous, engaging and relevant student-centered learning in order to build 21st century skills and prepare for their chosen college and/or career path.




  • Teaching students to interact positively with one another in the school.
  • Students will learn and apply reading strategies to deepen comprehension of complex texts.
  • Students will develop strong foundational skills in mathematics through explicit instruction that addresses the level of rigor.
